If you have a burning question...

The simplest solution is just to ask!

Is there really a need for a business school for therapists?

We’ve come across a lot of therapists who are excellent at what they do – but who are not very good at marketing their talents!

Because most therapists feel a vocational pull to “help others”, they invest both time and money learning more techniques to better help their clients.  Few recognise the importance of building their business skills.   Whether we like it or not, it’s the quality of our business – and particularly marketing – skills which dictates how many clients we’re able to help as therapists.  After all, if no-one’s heard of you, they’re not going to be knocking on your door for an appointment!

Sadly, many therapists have found that without good business skills, they’re not able to attract sufficient clients.  This means that they’re either living in a constant state of stress, worrying about how they’re going to pay the bills, or they have go back into a “day job” in order to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. This is not only frustrating but it also means that clients are missing out too.

Why should I pay to join the Quantum Business School – isn’t most of the information already available on the web?

While it is true that there is already lots of business information available on the web, there’s so much of it that it will take you days to trawl through it all.  More importantly most of it is written for stereotypical small businesses – and not with the specific needs of therapists in mind.

The articles written for The Quantum Business School have been specially commissioned – and have either been produced by experts in their field or by therapists who have already developed successful businesses in their own right.  Our “Insider Interviews” provide levels of information you simply won’t find elsewhere because we’ve gone to the trouble and expense of tracking down the right people so that you don’t have to!

Finally, everyone within the Quantum Team is a practicing therapist – and the information provided by the School has been carefully selected to help you fast track your business.  We’ve learned – often the hard way! – what works and what doesn’t and as Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “It’s best to learn from other people’s mistakes as there simply isn’t time to make them all yourself.”

Why are your prices so low?

We’ve kept the prices low because we wanted every therapist to be able to afford the business training they need to make their practices successful. We’ve looked to reduce our overheads in every way possible – for example, having the School online means that not only do we not have any expensive offices to maintain – but also that we’re able to reach therapists wherever they are in the world.

Why have you put together monthly e-lessons, couldn’t you simply load up all the lessons at once on the site?

We developed the concept of e-lessons in order to create a spirit of ongoing coaching and learning.  It’s all too easy to accumulate knowledge but the magic only happens when knowledge is applied.  By releasing the lessons monthly, you get a manageable bite-sized chunk of really useful information which you easily apply to your practice immediately.

Because the lessons are put together for therapists by therapists who also have extensive business experience under their belt, they’ve been tailored to exactly what you need in order to run a successful therapy practice.

While I like the idea of being able to learn on line, will you be running any live seminars, workshops and conferences in the future?

Absolutely!  One of the benefits of being able to learn on line is that you can do so from the comfort of your own home or office, at a time to suit you.  There’s no need to get dressed up – and there’s no travel time or parking expenses to contend with.  All your time with Quantum on line is spent on you learning how to build your practice quickly and cost effectively.

Having said that, there are lots of people who also enjoy learning as part of a group – and if you’re one of them, you’ll definitely want to find out what activities we’ve got going on near you.  Have a look at our events calendar!

Finally, we also recognise that some people prefer to learn reading, while others are more comfortable watching or listening – which is why we’re including video and audio sessions in some of the lessons and articles.

Is the Quantum Business School only for therapists based in the UK?

No! While the School was founded and set up in the UK, the aim from the outset has been to bring therapists – wherever they are in the world – the business knowledge they need to run a successful practice.  The Quantum School will shortly have a home in New Zealand and Australia and there are plans for a number of other Quantum centres around the world.

Why did you decide to call it the “Quantum Business School”?

We chose the word “quantum” because the term describes the smallest particles of matter which are made up of vibrating energy.   Scientifically verified experiments have proven that energy at the quantum level can be affected by thought. By helping therapists get their business thinking straight, we can help them get their practices fast tracked to success!

Why should I subscribe to the School’s ezine, “Quantum Leap”?

Even though the ezine is free, it’s packed with helpful hints, tips and stories to help keep you build a successful therapy practice of your own.

When you subscribe to the ezine, you’ll automatically become a member of the Quantum Community – which means that you’ll find out about the latest special offers we’ve negotiated on your behalf together with news about the events that are being put on in your area.

If I’m a subscriber will I get inundated with spam?

Absolutely not – we hate spam just as much as you!  You can read our spam policy here.

People often choose to become therapists because it feels like a spiritual calling – surely being successful in business isn’t very spiritual?

It’s a great shame that a lot of people fall into the trap of believing that being spiritual and making money can’t go hand in hand. And yet, when you stop to think about it, the Universe is abundant!

Manifesting is an important aspect of spirituality and if you believe that being spiritual means not having money, then sadly it’s your ego which is playing out – doing all it can to keep you struggling.

Finally, it helps to remember that being spiritual doesn’t mean that you have to be poor!  If, as therapists, we’re here to inspire others to a better way of being, then we’re far more likely to win hearts and minds if we’re successful and are obviously enjoying what we do.

What are your terms and conditions if I join the School as a member?

Our policy is to be “fair, open and honest”.  You can find our full terms and conditions here.
