Taking time out for yourself as a therapist is vital if you don't want to burn out.  And of course, if you're well rested, you'll be giving your clients better treatments too!

The best way to avoid stress and burn out is to get really good at managing your time - and prioritising all those things that really are important.

Of course, it's also important that make time for all your business activities too - if you don't want to find yourself working evenings and weekends!

Finally, it's sometimes about choosing to focus your attention on those things that are going to help you - and your clients - to get to where you want to be...and learning to say "no" to those things which are time and energy draining.
